If I pre-pay, can I choose the image I want from on line?

As much as we would like to be able to indulge that, the answer is no. 
The prepay option allows us to keep our prices reasonable and deliver to you standardized packages. Besides, we've been "editing to the best pose" for many years, we're good at it.
 

Do I have to pre-pay, or can I still have my child photographed and order from online?

You can do that, but pre-pay is less expensive and you have more package options. However, our online service allows you the opportunity to choose your child's pose and have it delivered to your home or office. 

Can I use PayPal to pre-pay?

Yes you can! 

What's a Digital Download?

This option allows you to view your child's photos online, choose your favorite pose, and download the file directly to your desktop. This option gives you the freedom to print and share as much as you'd like, where ever you'd like, and the rights to the image is yours forever. 

Do I get a class photo with my Digital Download?

If you pre-pay, then yes! All pre-pay orders come with a 5x7 hard copy of the class photo/composite. These are sent to the school, so inquire with your child's teacher for your copy.

What if I am not satisfied with my prints?

We offer a 30 day money back guarantee from the day of delivery. We will refund or credit you for usage in the gallery (note: online prices are higher than prepaid). We can only offer the like amount in credit). Refunds will be if you are unhappy with quality of photo, we are not responsible for clothing, hair, or styling. If you want your child photographed in a certain outfit, make sure to let the photographer know. For inquires about a refund or exchange, and instructions on how to do so, please email katy@japhotography.net.

What if I received the wrong package or am missing a page?

If the order you received is different than what you think you ordered, please email katy@japhotography.net to verify that you need different or additional pages.

What if my credit card is declined on a pre-pay transaction? 

You have the option to pre-pay with a credit card by writing your card number, expiration date, CVV code, and billing zip code on the form. But sometimes parents leave out/misprint important information. If this happens, you will receive a phone call on the number you give us to try to get the relevant numbers we need. If this phone call is not answered or the call is not returned before the school is sent to the lab to be printed, then your order will not be sent. You then have the option to purchase your photos online (please note:  online prices are higher than prepaid). 

What if my check is returned?

Returned checks are subject to $25 Service Charge and are reported to Fidelity Creditor Services. Writing a bad check is against the law. Recipients of bad checks may sue the payer in Small Claims court for three times the amount of the check up to $1500, which ever is more. In addition, suit may be made against the payer for the face value of the check and all court cases (California Civil Court, Chapter 522, Section 1719). 

In a pre-pay package, what size is a page?

A page is 8x10 inches, ie.: 1-8x10, 2-5x7's, etc.

Does my pre-pay package include a class photo?

Yes, each pre-pay package comes with a class photo. The class photo is NOT one of your selected pages.

When can I see my child's photos online?

Portraits go online here a few weeks after prints have been delivered. 

How do I find the password to my child's school gallery?

All school galleries are password protected. To find your school's password, email katy@japhotography.net. Please allow 24 hours for a response. 

What should my child wear on picture day?

Avoid solid white or busy patterns. Warm colors, such as reds and oranges, are great for spring portraits. While cool colors, such as blues and purples, work best for fall portraits. 

How long will it take to receive my pre-pay order?

All though we get started right away on processing your school, expect about 4-6 weeks for delivery.

Do you photograph siblings?

Yes we do! However, since we have a time constraint, we try and do siblings after we have photographed all individuals, since our set is designed for one subject, rearranging to accommodate a sibling shot just takes longer. Please note, you get ONE class photo per package, so if you buy a package for two siblings that are in different classes, you will NOT receive a class photo for each child. An additional class photo can be purchased for $16. 

Can I split my package between two or more children?

No, unfortunately our software doesn't allow for this. You must purchase separate packages for each child or pose.  For example, if you order a two page package, you MAY NOT use one page for two children. You will have to purchase a two page package for each child.

Will there be a make-up day?

Please check with your school. Bigger schools typically have a make-up day, but not always. If you have questions about this, please email katy@japhotography.net.

Can I get photos from a previous season/year?

Yes! Please feel free to browse our galleries. We keep everything up online for about a year. If there is something you can't find, please email katy@japhotography.net with help accessing your gallery. You will be subject to a $5 archival fee.
